This is basically a "spoof" of the Paranormal Activity films with a fewother recent movies and TV shows thrown in. I use the word "spoof" verylightly because there wasn't one remotely funny thing about this. Thereare reality show references and if you do not watch reality shows youwill have no idea what's going on. In fact a lot of the movie"references" are all recent - meaning this will be pretty dated inabout 5 years. I'd like to say this is something that will not hold upwell over time but it doesn't hold up well over five minutes. It'sincredibly unfunny and it's trying hard to be funny.
There are lots of dick jokes in fact that's pretty much all it is, butnary a humorous one. There are references to other movies but again,the guy who "wrote" this seems to think simply referencing anothermovie is somehow funny. The daughter is from The Girl with the DragonTattoo but there isn't anything funny about it. This is one of thosemovies that was clearly written over a weekend, no rewrites, no inputfrom anyone funny or with talent - just a quickly thrown together badattempt at a spoof. Looking at the director/writer's other credits,it's no wonder this was so awful. Someone needs to tell this guy he'snot good at this. This type of humor is not easy to write and this is agood example of why not everyone should be trying this.

This would easily be a 8/10 in my opinion if the level of comedy fromthe first twelve minutes was held throughout.. Don't get me wrong,those 12 minutes are in no way hilarious but they are at least what Iexpect from a stupid spoof...
French Stewart literally saved the entire film.. Without having beenentertained at the start like that, I doubt I would have continued thisfilm.
Saying that... I still recommend this film to any spoof lover. This isdefinitely not the worst spoof there is out there. And some parts werequite funny, even funnier than the funny parts from "A Haunted House".Anyway, I felt like I had to write a review to justify only giving it a4/10. Even though the score is low this film is still worth watchingand cracking open a few cold ones with a few friends.
So don't be discouraged by the low score it is still worth a watch forany spoof fan. Funnier than "Epic Movie" and "Disaster Movie" but lessfunny than "Meet the Spartans" if that gives you any idea. IF you hatedall three equally then you simply don't like our generation's stupidspoofs, so please stay away and stop bitchin' bout how you would rathergouge your eyes out, poop rusty nails or any other form of masochisticcomments which you all seam to love writing about. Peace....

Let's face it, the Paranormal Activity movies were terrible. The worstpart is they won't stop making them. This movie gives some relief tothose of us who were forced by spouses or friends to sit through fourterrible, badly made Paranormal Activity movies.
The attempts at spoofing other movies like "The Devil Inside, Girl Withthe Dragon Tattoo, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, were weak atbest. I'm guessing it took the writer about 10 minutes to complete theentire script here.
Though this movie does have some funny scenes with the "Manny," it justoozes with envy of other great parodies. Unfortunately, for the world,there is only one Mel Brooks.
